Storm winds are battering Britain today and, with heavy rain, it is not typical of June at all.
It seems fitting for these last days here to be experiencing the elements in their full glory: odd patches of sunshine break through the clouds at times as the clouds race overhead.
I captured this red sunset about two years ago and you can just make out Ranmore church on the lower horizons, silhouetted against the sky.
Two days left here...

There is a particular beauty to light as it pierces through darkness and, today, this was the gift given to me as I sat on the bed of our B&B on Rose Hill.
So much of this season is bright and shaded, joyful and sad, seen and unseen.
These clouds were moving at quite a swift pace, and we have a gale force wind warning in the southeast of England forecast for tomorrow, this is surely a precursor. The winds are changing and they are doing so at speed...
I cannot believe we are only 3 days away...
Judy
